Archie Denniss, a retired baker and Chula Vista resident for the past 20 years, died Friday at his home at 645 Chula Vista Street at the age of 64.
Denniss, who owned and operated the Denniss Bakery in Chula Vista from 1937 to 1942, is survived by his wife Ruth, three daughters, Mrs. Eileen Smith of Altadena, CA; Mrs. Audrey Westman and Mrs. Carol Rogers, both of San Diego; a sister, Mrs. Ellrita Harper of San Diego and a sister and a brother, both out of state residents.
Services were held Tuesday at Hubbard Mortuary, Chula Vista, Cremation followed.
