Brenda Darlene Price Anderson, 53, passed away at her home on Laughlin Road in Lisbon on Monday afternoon, January 20, 2014. Brenda, who had courageously battled illness for quite some time, died at 4:21 p.m. with her family at her side.

She was born in Aliquippa, PA, on October 1, 1960, a daughter of the late Woodrow Canden and Thelma Dale Roberts Price. She had spent her lifetime in the Tri-State area, and was a 1978 graduate of Southside High School.

A devoted homemaker, Brenda served as vice-president of her husband's company, Precesion Finning and Bending, Inc. in East Liverpool. She had owned Comfort Keepers with her sister, Vicki, at one time, and had also worked at Sears Optical for over 16 years.

Brenda loved many things, especially gardening, antiquing, raising alpacas, and spending time with her three dogs. She had belonged to Frankfort Springs Presbyterian Church.

Her husband, Mark A. Anderson, whom she married on May 5, 1984, survives her at their home.

Brenda also leaves behind her six sisters and three brothers: Margaret Wilcoxen of Chester; Carol Creese and her husband, Richard, of Lisbon; Beverly Baker of Hookstown; Susan Herstine and her husband, Charles, of Clifton Forge, VA; Vicki Smith and her husband, Tom, of Mogadore, OH; Patricia Culley and her husband, Mark, of Georgetown, PA; Charles Price and his wife, Lydia, of Clinton, PA; Shirley 'Red' Price of Chester; and Robert Price and his wife, Carole, of Clinton. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Tharon Anderson of Brenham, TX; her father-in-law, Harry Anderson of Rogers; mother-in-law, Vivian Kosto of Chester, and sister-in-law, Anna Price of Calcutta, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who adored her.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, William Edward Price, along with sister-in-law, Darlene Price, and brothers-in-law, Michael Baker and Paul Roger Wilcoxen.

Pastor Kenn Jacobs, of the Bethel/Tucker United Methodist Church in Georgetown, will officiate at a service at 11 a.m. Friday at the DAWSON FUNERAL HOME, 215 West Fifth St., East Liverpool, Ohio. Burial will follow at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The family asks that those wishing to make memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may send them c/o Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation Breast Cancer Research Fund, 3339 Ward Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, to aid in cancer research.

Following the burial, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
