PARENTS: Mr. John Edward and Mrs. Janie Morris Smith. (Both Deceased).
CHURCH ATTENDED: St. Phillips Baptist Church, in Washington, D.C and served on the Usher Board. In 1964 John relocated to Baltimore, Maryland and joined Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. In February 1979, John was a member of New Shiloh Baptist Church until the time us his death.
John found great joy in serving GOD. John loved life and shared many happy experiences with family and friends. John's concern and love for others have always highlighted his life.
On Friday, May 16,1980, John silently enter into Eternal Rest.
John leaves to cherish his loving memories: his devoted wife; Dorothy; one stepson: Lee; one stepsister: Mary Stevenson; one uncle: Herbert Morris; nieces; nephews; a host of cousins; in-laws; and other relatives and friends.
