Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Steinke Funeral Home, Galena, where friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Scales Mound (Ill.) Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Cousins worked for the state of Illinois as a tour guide at Grants Home and the Market House, both in Galena, for several years, retiring in 1983.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1909, in Volga, Wis., daughter of Ernest and Maggie (Wick) Adams.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Lyle Ann Simmons, of Darlington, Wis.; three grandsons, William Cousins, of Carbondale, Michael (Marilyn) Cousins, of Dubuque, and James (Lisa) Cousins, of Ankeny, Iowa; two granddaughters, Susan (David) Fulton, of Hanover, and Judy (Lou) Mennig, of Dubuque; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne, on July 24, 1950; a son, Robert, on Dec. 26, 1980; a sister, Grace Ottom; and a half brother, William Rosenow.
