Julian Douglas Morgan, 69, of Columbus Ga, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 26, 2013 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Julian Douglas Morgan was born March 7, 1944 in Columbus, Ga, son of the late J.D Morgan and Elizabeth Lunsford Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a United States Marines Veteran, courageously serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and loved football, He was a loyal Georgia Bulldogs fan. Other than his parents Julian is preceded in death by, sister Betty Bergerson and brother William C. Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Morgan; three sons, Jeffry Morgan of Smiths Station, AL, Clark Morgan of Columbus, GA, Steve Morgan and wife Ashley of Murfreesboro, TN; Julian also leaves behind four grandchildren Jansen, Kade, Savannah and Nick.
