On May 26, 1819 in Russellville, Ky., John married Eliza Frances WILSON (b. 17 JUN 1783, Louisville, Jefferson Co., Ky - d. 2 APR 1875, Russellville, Logan Co., Ky.) She was the dau of James Wilson (1770 - ?) and Margaret T. Whitaker Wilson (b. 23 Dec 1768, Prince George's Co., MD)
