Elaine Gosnell Anglin,,Elaine had cancer for about five years.Elaine served with her husband,Alan,as Associate Pastors of Family Life Church,of Lake Jackson,Texas. Through Oasis Student Ministries,Elaine and Alan touched many Hearts among the youth of Brazosport area.She was preceded in death by a nephew,Jeffery Andrew Spooner.Survivors include her husband,of 19 years,Alan Anglin;two sons,Luke Anglin;Andrew Anglin;her parents,Dale and Elna Gosnell;five sisters and their husbands;many other loving family members and friends.Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25,2005 at Family Life Church from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be on October 26,2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Family Life Church,Lake Jackson,Texas.77566.Final arrangements entrusted to Lakewood Funeral Home,(979)297-6464.Some people endure life,many people embrace life,but Elaine drank deeply of Life.She loved people and was the life of the party.She touched lives with her laughter,compassion,and kindness.She faithfully served Jesus,ministering to the youth alongside her husband, Alan,for more than 19 years.Her Pride and Joy were her two children,Luke and Andrew.Elaine was a preacher of the Gospel,and the greatest message she ever preached was the Life that she led.Source:The Brazosport Facts Newspaper,10/25/2005.
