Robert was the son of Robert Madison & Barthena (Burton) Arnold. His siblings were:
Charlie Monroe (1890 – 1947)
Bessie (1892 – 1971)
James Benjamin (1896 – 1968)
Clarence (1901 – 1975)
Clyde (1905 – 1975)
Farris (1906 – 1982)

He married Irene Jane Wallace in Neosho, Newton Co, MO on Jan. 29, 1927. Irene was known as Janie.

Their children were:
Beulah Mae (1927 – 1996)
Gilbert Leon (1929 – 2006)

"ROBERT ARNOLD
Robert Arnold, 47-year-old farmer who lived southwest of Wyandotte, died at the Miami Baptist hospital at 9:45 o'clock Wednesday night. He had been ill for several months.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Arnold; one son, Gilbert Arnold of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Phillips of Vinita; one sister, Mrs. Bess Coker, Exter, Calif.; and four brothers, Farris and Ben Arnold of Hughson, Calif., Clyde Arnold of Viola, Mo., and Clarence Arnold, Golden, Mo.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Biddlecome Funeral Home of Seneca, MO."

Funeral services for Robert Arnold, 47-year-old farmer in the Wyandotte community who died at Miami Baptist hospital Wednesday night, will be conducted at the Wyandotte Baptist church at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. G. Blomoterm will officiate.

Burial will be in Wyandotte cemetery under direction of the Biddlecome Funeral home of Seneca, Mo."
