Mr. Antoni Shawn (Tony) Airhart, age 46, of Thurmont, died unexpectedly at his home on November 26, 2013.

Born on June 11, 1967, in Great Lakes, IL, he was the son of John Airhart of Oakmont, PA and Glenda L. Trout of Walkersville.

Tony was a beloved father, son, brother and uncle. He spent over 25 years doing what he loved, landscaping and was a dedicated and loyal employee of Davidson Landscaping, Inc in Woodsboro. Tony loved the outdoors, whether it was a hot camp fire and hanging out with friends, or a nice dinner and some ghost hunting in Gettysburg with his family. He was always full of laughter and loved sharing his laughter with everyone around him. His laughter usually involved reminiscing about old times and lost friends. Tony loved his Pittsburgh Steelers, ghost hunting in Gettysburg and learning about the Civil War, and a good NASCAR race. We didn't just lose our father, son, brother and uncle; we lost our best friend.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two sons: Shawn and Christopher Airhart of Irwin, PA; his sister Monyque Bruchey and two nieces: Amber Bunch and Rosie Shipley all of Waynesboro, PA

The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Tuesday, December 3, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, where services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4; interment will follow in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.

Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Walkersville. Online condolences maybe expressed at staufferfuneralhome.com.
