He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Guill.
The joy of his life was his wife of 62 years Dolores Guill, his children Rayna (Larry)Bertolucci and Robert M. Guill and most of all his grandchildren, Brian (Sarah) Bertolucci, Stacy (Taylor) Titoni and Joseph Robert Guill. Additionally, Bob was greatly blessed by his 6 great grandchildren. Truthfully, Bob was "Grandpa" to many more people than just his grandkids. Bob also loved his brothers Bud (Linda) and Bill (Eunice) Guill and his brother-in-law, Dave (Lyndell) Garrison and sister-in-law, Janice (Verg) Redden.
Bob drove truck for Bill Guill Trucking for many years and loved to tell people he logged 4 million miles. Bob loved to golf; his home course was Tucker Oaks where he enjoyed many beautiful days of golf and friendship. Bob also enjoyed many years of hunting and loved being a neighbor. He often looked for ways to be helpful by sharpening saw chains, taking out garbage or just listening and sharing stories. Bob and Dolores both graduated from Anderson High School and have many long time Shasta County friends. Their church home was Cottonwood Community. Their church family has been a huge support to them both.
Bob's death will leave a large gap in the lives of many. He will be missed everyday; however, his family has "blessed assurance" that they will have a glorious reunion in eternity.
