Private graveside services were conducted at the Wickenburg Cemetery for John Lloyd Franklin, 36, of Congress, who died Sept 1 in Wickenburg.
Mr. Franklin was born in 1953 in Wickenburg and was a lifelong resident of the community until a year ago, when he moved to Congress.
He attended schools in Wickenburg, and was a graduate of Wickenburg High School.
He worked as a cook at the Gold Nugget restaurant, a silversmith at the Mecca gift shop, and was also employed by the Circle K. Laundry and Anderson's Cleaners.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron and Eric, and a daughter, Rebecca, of Vancouver, Wash.; his mother, Barbara Dawson and stepfather, Dewey of Congress; two brothers, Dan and Joe of Wickenburg; a sister, Cathie, of Wilcox; a step sister, Jacque Stone of Buckeye and his grandmother, Blanche Blair of Wickenburg.
