Ricardo Jimenez Munoz Services: Mon., Oct. 17, 11:00a.m. Carding was born 7 Jan 1933, San Joaquin, Pampanga, PI. and departed his earthly mission 12 Oct 2005 at Mercy Hospital, Bkrsfld. He is the 3rd of 8 children born to Esteban & Roberta (Jimenez) Munoz, both preceding him in death.
He was a very patriotic man with great love of his native land and the one he became a citizen of 1995 America. He owned and operated a sugarcane and rice farm 1954-1971, served as Barrio Baluarte Councilman 1966-1971. Losing his left leg forced him into early retirement. He came to the US in 1989.
In his Bkrsfld home he is survived by his wife, Teresita Dizon (David) of 52 yrs. His daughter, Maria and husband, Bob Smith.
In the Philippines he is survived by 4 sons: Rolando & Emy Munoz, Danilo & Beng Munoz, Analito Munoz and Jaime Munoz; 5 daughters: Hertudes & Ernesto Maniti, Marvi & Ben Pare, Viola Munoz, Evangeline Munoz, Marites and Carlo Cajagurian. 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He leaves behind 4 sisters: Dolores Sanlangsang, Lourdes and Tinong Mallari, Remedios and Efren Gomez, Lureta Baterina; 2 brothers: Orlando and Carelita Munoz, Jesus and Lydia Munoz, and his sister-in-law, Rosalina Munoz.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, 17 Oct 2005 at Funeraria Del Angel, 4030 Wible Rd, Bkrsfld, at 11:00a.m. followed by graveside services at Greenlawn Southwest. Visitation will be Sunday, 16 Oct 2005, 12-5p.m.
