Alberta S. Beer, 93, of Effort, formerly of Trachsville, died Nov. 20 in Palmerton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph H. Beer. She was a custodian for Jerusalem United Church of Christ, Trachsville. Born in Towamensing Township, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Isabella (Strohl) Buck. She was a member and choir member of Jerusalem United Church of Christ. She was a member of Towamensing Volunteer Fire Company. Survivors: Son, Willard of Trachsville; a granddaughter, three great-granddaughters.
