Mr. Anderson was born July 13, 1918 in Conewago Township, a son of the late Frank and Carrie (Knaub) Anderson.
He worked 32 years as a warper for York Narrow and Fabric, retiring in 1972. Mr. Anderson was an avid hunter and fisherman for most of his like and loved the outdoors.
Mr. Anderson is also survived by four sons, Robert, Richard, Ronald and Raymond; a daughter, Roxanna Spangler; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sadie Crone and Vergie Lentz. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin, Raymond and Gilbert and a sister, Doris Sturgis.
Funeral services will be held at Emig Funeral Home, N. Queen St., Dover. Burial is to follow in Rohlers Mountainview Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. David Yost of Newberrytown Church of God.
