Edith L. McGrath age 92 of Prairie du Chien passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. She was born October 31, 1920 the daughter of David and Anna (Michel) Stram. She married William McGrath on May 27, 1948 in Las Vegas NV. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2013. Edith worked as a beautician and later in the healthcare field as a nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Dwayne, brothers, Leo, Chuck and Bob Stram along with sisters, Marie Hartman, Aurelia Rueber, Hazel Konichek-Morris, Cecelia Slama and Dorothy Brunner.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday June 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Church of the Holy Family Parish with Rev. James Weighner officiating, interment in the Calvary Cemetery both in Prairie du Chien, WI. Friends may call at the church on Monday June 10, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of services. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
