Kathleen (Kathi) Marie Bridgett Bell, age 59, a former resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away at 4:26 AM, Sunday November 10, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born March 12, 1954, the daughter of Jeanette and Paul Bridgett in Fort Wayne.
Kathi graduated in the first graduating class of Wayne High School of Ft. Wayne in 1972. She married Jeffrey L. Bell, September 20, 1975 at Christ Methodist Church, Ft. Wayne. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2013 in Ft. Wayne.
She worked in the admitting office at Indiana (Ft. Wayne) Development Center for 25 years. She was employed with Community Home Health Care in 2010 when she suffered a massive heart attack.
Kathi's survivors are her parents Paul and Jeanette Bridgett of Bloomington; brother Neal Bridgett and wife Barb of Bloomington; brother in laws Steve Bell and wife Judy of Hudson, Indiana, and Tim Bell and wife Linda of Atlanta, Georgia. Also surviving are several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Calling and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:00PM at Canterbury Rehab and Nursing Center, 2827 Northgate Blvd., Fort Wayne. Pastor La Ray Williams will preside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Kathi's honor to Animal Care & Control, Fort Wayne.
