Services for Charles D. Taylor, 79 of 2603 Saratoga Drive, are pending at Locke Funeral Home. He died at 8:55 p.m. Friday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 9, 1901, in Ionia, son of Dell and Gertrude Ransom Taylor. He married Lydia Sisson Oct. 4, 1924, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He was branch manager of Sawyer Biscuit Co. until his retirement in 1963.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters mrs. Betty Moses of 2603 Saratoga Drive, and Mrs. Patricia Fairbanks of Siren, Wis.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Marvelyn Grove of Monona, and Mrs. Elaine Shriver of Maquoketa; and eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
