Florence Blanche (Burgess) Brady, 75, died at Morton Hospital and Medical Center Thursday Apr 30, 1992 after a long illness. The wife of the late Clarence Paul Brady, she lived at 30 Washington Street. Mrs. Brady, who was born in Taunton, was daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Brabant) Burgess. She was employed by the Norton Public School Department for several years as a cafeteria worker. Mrs. Brady was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Her survivors are a son, Robert E. Brady of Lakeville; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Whalen of Naples, FL, Mrs. Leo E. (Sharon) Caldeira and Mrs. Maureen Marques, both of Taunton; five brothers, Arthur Burgess of Chicopee, Clarence and Roland Burgess of Taunton, John Burgess of New York, and Henry Burgess of Connecticut; two sisters, Rose Roberts of Westwood, KY and Yvonne LaFluer of Taunton; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Her funeral will be held at the Silva Funeral Home Monday at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass at St. Mary’s Church at 9 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Greater Taunton.
