William Adam Helms, 75, farmer of Route 1, Stanfield, died Tuesday in a Winston Salem hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Zion Primitive Baptist Church near Concord by Elder Jason Eugy and Elder Cliff Allen. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Burris; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille McDonald of Charlotte, Mrs. Geneva Jones of Florence, S.C. and Mrs. Pauline Almond of Albemarle; three sons, David Helms of Albemarle, Sanford Helms of Oakboro and R. G. Helms of Stanfield; four brothers, Otha Helms of Denton, Lester and Lloyd Helms of Mooresville and Rone Helms of Salisbury; and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Cristenbury of Charlotte.
