She was born in Bountiful, Utah, the only daughter of Jolene Smith and Scott Taylor.

She attended school in Bountiful and graduated from Woods Cross High.

She enjoyed going to Lagoon with her best friend Michelle, and spending time with her niece and nephews, Skylar, Stephanie, Jacob, Dustin and Thomas.

Jodi’s great love was bowling and all of the friends she had made. She was to go to her first
national tournament in Reno in June.
She was on the board of directors in the Ogden Women’s Bowling Association. She helped with numerous fund raisers, especially for the Sparetime Junior Bowlers in Roy.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Richard and Jolene Smith, Roy; her father, Scott and Lyla Taylor, Magna; two brothers, Scott, Draper and J.J (Kim) Taylor, Salt Lake City; two step-brothers and a step-sister, Max, Hayden and Hannah, Magna; Grandma Ruel, Salt Lake City and Grandpa and Grandma Zabriskie, Murray; Grandma Betty, Bountiful; Grandpa and Grandma Taylor, Ohio; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Gary, Uncle Charlie and George.
