Florence Rebecca WEBB was the eighth of twelve known children born to Clayton Stribling WEBB and his wife, Susan Elvira MCELROY. She was married to Willis Moss CRAFT in Hartwell, GA on 21 Jul 1863. She later relocated to Royse City, Rockwall, TX.

Her death certificate indicates she spent the last 29 years of her life (1891-1920) in an institution (NTHI) in Terrell, Kaufman, Texas.

Florence and Willis had one known child, Franklin CRAFT (c1864-Aft 1880).

Florence's name has been incorrectly shown in several history books as Florence Ruth WEBB. The original source of that error has not yet been found.

The definitive source of Florence Rebecca WEBB's name is a copy of an original, hand-written page from Micajah Adolphus CLARK's journal documenting his visit with Clayton Stribling WEBB's family in Jul 1857.

Clayton Stribling WEBB was Micajah Adolphus CLARK's uncle (Micajah's mother's brother). So, Florence was Micajah's first cousin.

Micajah recorded her name as Rebecca Florance in his journal. Records in her adulthood recorded her name as Florence R. or simply Florence.

In her marriage record, her name is shown as Florence R. WEBB. In her death record, it is shown as Florence R. CRAFT.
