Edith Sloan Lewis, 87, of Cohutta, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Regency Park Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nellie Sloan; brothers, Franklin Sloan and Charles Sloan; sisters, Ona Mae Hall and Iva Lee Hammontree.
She was a member of McGaughey Chapel Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, George Lewis of the residence; daughter, Krista Lewis of Morristown, Tenn.; son, Tony Lewis of Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Bonnie Sloan of Cohutta; nieces and nephews; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
