JENNYE V. ABLES
Graveside services for Jennye V. Ables, 75, of Tulsa are today (Thursday) at 2 P.M. Mrs. Ables died Nov. 27 at her son's home in Springfield, MO.
Mrs. Ables was born Feb. 29, 1920, at Madill where she was reared and graduated from high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from East Central University, Ada, and her master's degree from the University of Tulsa.
She lived in Sherman, TX, prior to moving to Ada and Springfield, MO. She then moved to Tulsa and she was a counselor with the Tulsa Public Schools 25 years. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church since childhood.
She is survived by her son, Don Ables of Springfield, MO; daughter, Karen Bitner of Tulsa; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and sister. Odessa Deberry of Ocenside, CA. Services are in Woodberry-Forest Cemetery with Larry Holder officiating.
