April J. Mallison, 39, Marion, died at 11:50 a.m., Monday, October 14, 2013 in Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion, Indiana to Dennis and Catherine (Johnson) Roberson. She was a 1992 graduate of Marion High School and 2010 graduate of Ivy Tech. April married Robert Mallison on June 12, 2010. He survives.
She was a homemaker and attended College Wesleyan Church. April enjoyed writing short stories, poems and novels. She liked arts, crafts and singing. She was a very passionate mother and loved spending time with her family. She even helped as an assistant coach for her son's soccer team.
April is survived by her children, Kirstan (21) Eyer, Jeremy (15) Eyer, Alex (14) Eyer, Gabi (13) Eyer, Jalynn (13) Eyer, Greenlee (5) Mallison, Lincoln (2) Mallison; brothers, Rob Roberson, Brad (Lori) Roberson; sisters, Kristi Roberson, Kelly (Casey) Lemons; grandmother, Ann Snow; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, Indiana with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2013 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
