MERIDEN - Mrs. Zelia L. Bell, 76, Meriden, died Monday in a Valley Falls nursing home where she had been since 1968.
She was born Nov. 4, 1895 at Meriden where she spent most of her life. She taught school at Meriden many years before she retired.
She was a member and pas matron of Meriden Chapter No.399, Order of Eastern Star, and also was a member of World War I Widows.
Her husband, Paul E. Bell, died May 27, 1957. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Helen Rodecap, Meriden; 2 sons, Raymond Bell, Fort Worth, Tex. and Elmer Bell, Meriden; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at the United Methodist Church with burial in Meriden Cemetery. Davidson-Duff Funeral Home, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
