William Floyd Lamb, 76, died May 2 en route to Henry County Hospital at Paris, of a heart attack. He was stricken at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Virgil Radford, and lived only a few minutes.
Services were held Sunday, May 3, at the Gleason Baptist Church with the Rev. Hilliard Goode and Rev. Harold Grissom officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Maddox and Company.
For the past 18 months he had made his home with his children due to failing health. He had lived in Gleason since 1946, and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Bill Lamb, Nashville; three daughters, Mrs. Virgil Radford and Mrs. Otis Powers, Paris; and Mrs. Wilburn Brawner, McKenzie; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
