Gustie (Augusta) Nelson Hill was born near Paxton, the daughter of Nels and Rachel Natterstad Nelson. She married Knute Hill on 7 September 1899 at Elliott. He died in 1955. She is survived by six sons: Ollie, Joe, & Kellie, of Elliott; Raymond & Silas of Paxton, and Nealen of East Peoria; a daughter, Mrs, Lavina (Charles) Rick of Champaign, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
