PLEASANT GARDEN Mrs. Nancy Rumley Douglas, 84, of 5792 Surrie Trail, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel, where she was in fellowship and was the organist for many years prior to declining health.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara D. Butler of Macon; sons, Tommy Douglas and wife, Judy of California, David Douglas of Pleasant Garden; seven grandchildren, Teresa Butler Kasey and husband, Brent of Stony Point, Tina Butler Krause and husband, Derek of Clover, S.C., Christine Douglas Slinker and husband, Aaron, Lenny Douglas Percent, David Douglas Jr., Monica Douglas and Amy Douglas, all of California; seven great-grandchildren, Britney, Meredith and Katie Kasey of Stony Point, Kassey, Benjamin and Noah Krause of Clover, S.C., Sheralyn Douglas of California; and sister-in-law, Kathlean D. Apple of Greensboro.
