Obituary
Died, in New Orleans on Thursday, the 18th inst. of yellow fever, WILLIAM H. VAN HORN, in the 22d year of his age. The deceased was a native of this state, and resided for many years in this city, where his amiable disposition and correct deportment endeared him to a numerous circle of friends, who will deeply feel his loss. He leaves a young and interesting widow. Truly death is no respecter of persons.
This is a half brother to Captain Thaddeus Van Horn, also buried in this tomb. His father was James Van Horn and mother was Lucinda Abbey.
