MACON - Vernon Glenn Fincher, 49, died Friday in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Sunday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Charles Hanson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence.
Mr. Fincher, son of Buddy and Sylvia Marie Lott Fincher, was born in Perry and had lived in Macon most of his life.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Pendley's Alternator.
Mr. Fincher attended Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Buddy and Sylvia Marie Lott Fincher; his wife, Penny L. Fincher of Macon; his son, Dennis Glenn (Amy) Fincher of Macon; four sisters, Rhonda Jones of Perry, Laura Whitehouse, Melinda (Steven) Rutledge and Carla (Keith) Graham, all of Macon; his brother, Donny Ray Fincher of Gray; three grandchildren, Dennis Glenn Fincher, Jr., Devin Dewayne Fincher and Dasia Marie Fincher, all of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
