David Allen Monteith is of Scottish Ancestry and is the son of Charles Brouse Monteith and Edna Marie Tracy. He was a valiant soldier in the U.S. Army during World war I and served his country faithfully. Upon his return he married Monona "Nona" Wilson of Payette, Idaho. They had 4 children, three of which survived to adulthood. David and Nona eventually divorced and David moved to Wickenburg, Arizona where he lived alone until his death. He enjoyed his grandchildren and visiting his son Clyde in Oregon. He like long walks on the beach as it was a nice change from the Arizona desert. David is well remembered by all who knew him.
