Dick Humphrey of Racine and Ed Graham of Spurgeon, two Newton County boy's that were comrades of George in Co., B, 356 Inf., met with Bud and Artie May 5th 1919 or 20 and narated the facts concerning their sons death. He died 1 week before the end of the war.
