Joseph Hinton was born May 16, 1948 in Houston to Phillip Deering and Sarah Elizabeth Wise Hinton. He served in the U. S. Army. After completing his education, he was self-employed as a consultant for accident reconstructionist for various agencies.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Richter Hinton of Washington; mother, Ruby Hinton of Legue City; daughter and son-in-law Lindsey Lynette Jamieson and Daniel Edouard Jamieson of Allen, TX., and a granddaughter, Elyse Mireille Jamieson.
Memorials may be directed to Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington or to Hospice Brazos Valley. Funeral arrangements for Joseph Stuart Hinton are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
