Born in Kentucky to Stephen and Nancy Mosby. She married David Webber "D. W." Booker on 23 Mar 1865 in Carroll County, Missouri. They were the parents of at least 3 children.

Their oldest child, James Hugh Booker, was born in 1866; a daughter, Eliza Belle "Lizzie" Booker, was born in December of 1869; and the youngest, Webber C. Booker, was born in 1871.

Mary died on 23 Feb 1873 at the age of 30 years, 2 months and 15 days. Less than 6 weeks later, her husband, D. W., also passed away at the age of 33.

The loss of their parents left the 3 Booker children, ranging in age from 6 years down to 27-months-old, as orphans.

The children were taken in by Mary's in-laws. James, age 6, lived with the family of D.W.'s brother, James and Jane Booker. Lizzie was 3-years-old at the time of her parents' deaths. She was cared for by her paternal grandmother, Merenza Booker. Youngest child, Webber, who was still a toddler, lived with another of D. W.'s brothers, George W. Booker and his wife, Nettie.

Lizzie lived with her grandmother and a maiden aunt, Isabelle "Bell" Booker. Lizzie and Bell worked as dressmakers. Grandmother Merenza Booker died in 1897. That same year, Lizzie's aunt, Bell, married William James Rice.

Lizzie married a carpenter named Robert Abraham Wagaman around 1903. Lizzie and Robert lived with Bell and William Rice into the 1910's. Neither couple ever had any children.

Mary's children: 2 sons, 1 daughter.
