Findagrave contributor Jayne Beers suggested concerning the Mary J. Hoggett memorial:
This is Mary J. Hockett. She is already listed.
---------------------------------------------
My response: Ms. Beers is correct. The paper records that were handed down to me from past cemetery trustees have this individual listed as Hoggett. I often find discrepancies between my paper records and the actual stones. I'm leaving both memorials because I've seen Hockett spelled Hoggett on several of the old photos that were labeled by my gg-grandmother. It was perhaps a common spelling confusion, so perhaps leaving both memorials and just making note of the discrepancy will help others who may be searching under the other name.
