Mrs. Theodore (Viola) Arlt, 63, of 1522 Dick Drive, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, at St. Luke's Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Harold E. Salem officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gates-Vik Funeral Home. There will be visitation at the church prior to the service.

Viola Miller was born March 4, 1920, at Venturia, N.D. to William and Dorothy Miller. She graduated from Venturia High School.

She married Theodore Arlt in 1941 in Venturia. They made their first home at rural Ashley, N.D. and moved to rural Aberdeen in 1952.

Mr. Arlt died in 1956. In 1968 she moved to Aberdeen.

She was a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roger and Theodore (Ted), both of Aberdeen; six grandchildren; five brothers, Adolph Weisenberger, Seattle, Wash.; Art Miller, Barnesville, Minn.; Roland Weisenberger, Ashley, N.D.; Edward Miller, Minot, N.D.; and the Rev. Norman Miller, Elgin, Iowa; four sisters, Frieda Michaelsohn, McMinnville, Ore.; Esther Haas, Sioux Falls; Hulda Arlt, Aberdeen; and Eleanor Weisenberger, a missionary in West Cameroons, Africa.

The soloist at the service will be Rodney Spilde and Mrs. Elvin Dumdei will be the organist.

Pallbearers will be Michael Arlt, Dean Arlt, Troy Higgins, George McCrea, Adolph Forkel and R.W. Carls.
