Eunice Huseby, age 81, of Adams, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at the Austin Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 21, 1920, in Adams to Oscar and Clara (Lewison) Torgerson. She spent her life in Adams.

She graduated from Adams High School in 1939. She also attended the University of Minnesota, St. Paul campus.

On October 28, 1941, she married her high school sweetheart, Aaron Huseby.

She was the "Lucky Clovers" 4-H leader for many years and was a life-long member of Little Cedar Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She and Aaron enjoyed traveling around the world. They traveled to Europe, Norway, Mexico, Hawaii and all over the United States, until Aaron's death in 1992.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Bernice Huseby, Eyota; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Porter Hemingway, New Ulm; Carol and Wayne Schramm, Adams; Janet and Randy Stephenson, Rose Creek; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aaron; brothers, Donald and Sydney Torgerson; and grandsons, Michael and John Huseby.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at the funeral home.

Service: 2 p.m., Friday, at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams with Rev. Richard Kastner officiating. Casket bearers will be Jennifer Zetah, James Huseby, Heather Irwin, Joshua Hemingway, Jacob Schramm, Sydney Schramm, Carrie Stephenson, Sarah Stephenson and Kate Stephenson.

Interment: Little Cedar Lutheran Cemetery, Adams. Funeral Home: Adams Funeral Home, Adams.

Eunice graduated from Adams High School in 1939, and attended the University of Minnesota for one year. She also worked at the Daylight Store in Adams.

On October 28, 1941, Eunice married Aaron Huseby. Their four children and their spouses are Allen and Bernice Huseby of Eyota; Shirley and Porter Hemingway of New Ulm; Carol and Wayne Schramm of Adams; and Janet and Randy Stephenson of Rose Creek. Eunice has eleven grandchildren, nine of whom survive. She also has three great-grandchildren. She currently resides at the Cedar Court Apartments.
