Services for Oscar Y. Allen, 65, of 2015 9th St., Rock Island, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, Silvis. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mr. Allen died Sunday at Franciscan Medical Center.
He was born in East Prairie, Mo. He marrled Grace M. DeMoss in December 1946 in Hot Springs, Ark. He worked in construction business.
Survivors include the widow; daughters Barbara Ivy, Haughton, La., Carol Eckhardt, Muscatine, Iowa, and Shirley Allen, Sioux Falls, S.D.; a son, Michael, Blue Grass, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, a sister, Thelma Morgan, Sikeston, Mo., and a brother, Arthur, Farmington, Mo.
