W. W.(Bill) Mayo, 45, died suddenly Thursday evening, May 27, at his home at 2351 Harrison Avenue. He was born April 20, 1915 in Magnolia, Ark., and had resided in Eureka for the past 13 years. He had been employed by the Eureka Ready Mix company as a driver for over seven years and was a member of the local 684 of the Teamsters union.

He is survived by his wife Wanda of Eureka; five children, Madonna, Jimmy, Nelda, Donald, and Glenda, all of Eureka; two brothers, Paul and Smead Mayo both of Eureka; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Parsons, Mrs. Edna Stenger, both of Eureka and Mrs Leona Cornelius of Hope, Ark. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cooper Mortuary Chapel of Ferns with internment to follow at Ovean View cemetery.
