MARS HILL – Jacqualine L. Dyer, 65, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born June 27, 1939, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Earlon Stetson and Millicent (Fletcher) Stetson Lyons. Jackie was devoted to her family and especially loved her grandkids. She was also a very selfless person who would put others before herself. Jackie enjoyed puzzles and crocheting. She is survived by three sons, Ira J. Dyer and his wife, Valerie, of Marysville, Ohio, Russell A. Dyer and his wife, Susan, of Westfield, Eric J. Dyer of Mars Hill; two daughters, Lucy A. Boyd and her husband, Joe, and Betsy Hallett and her husband, Stewart, all of Mars Hill; four brothers, Earlon and his wife, Helen, of Mars Hill, Arthur and his wife, Barb, of Kents Hill, Arol of Ohio, Asa and his wife, Margaret of Blaine; four sisters, Marie McKim and her husband, Basil, of Blaine, Flossie O'Neal and her husband, Walter, of Presque Isle, Peggy Kinney and her husband, Bob, and Dena Mullen and her husband, Clarence, all of E. Plantation; sixteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her stepfather, Milton Lyons of Portage Lake; several nieces and nephews; also a very special niece, Bernadette Miller. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lewellyn Dyer, in 1998; and a sister, Dixie Brewer. The family would like to thank the staff at the TAMC I.C.U. ward for all their care and compassion. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at the Full Gospel Assembly in Mars Hill, with the Rev. Richard Bell officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place following the service at the church. Interment will take place following the service at Kings Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in support of the family to P.O.
