Linda Marlene Lovett, 64, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at a local hospital.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at East Greenwood Cemetery, Corner of Front St. and Rusk in Weatherford.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
Linda Marlene Smith was born on August 30, 1948 to the late Lyle and Jean Smith in Warren, Ohio. She met Claude Lovett and they married in 1978 in Newton Falls, Ohio. Linda attended Sharon Nursing Academy in Pennsylvania and Youngstown University in Cleveland, Ohio. She became a registered nurse and worked at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio and John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Linda was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband, Claude Lovett of Weatherford; step-son, Chad Lovett and wife, Shannon, of Rome, Georgia; daughter, Jennifer Lovett of Benbrook; grandchildren, Nathan and Ganen; sister, Debbie Tachovaka of Fresno, Calif.; brothers, Denny Smith of Florida and Ronny Smith of Akron, Ohio; father-in-law, Claude Lovett of Weatherford; and a host of loving family and friends.
