Julia Ann Edwards (nee Hutson), loving and dearly beloved wife of William M. Edwards, entered peacefully into her eternal rest on August 12, 2013 at home among family and friends. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the youngest daughter of John T. and Lillian Hutson.

Julia was a devoted mother to Tina M. Ruxton and Lisa M. Heemann; sweet stepmother to Jason W. (Tracy) Edwards and Louisa C. (Chris) Harper; and dear sister of B. Franklin Hutson of Millville, DE. She was the proud, caring, and loving grandmother of Nicholas J. Cefalu, Cody B. Andrews, Colin M. Harper, and Liam J. Edwards; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia was preceded in death by her first husband Eugene Heemann in 1998; by sisters Elsie (Joe) Siwa and Mary (Sam) DeRita; and by brothers William Hutson, John Hutson Jr., Richard Hutson, Henry Hutson, and George Hutson.

Her many joys of daily life included her grandchildren, nationwide travel, home gardening , mountain hiking, and most especially, partner dancing. Although her vibrant life was cut short, she lived every day with a positive passion and a royal grace.

After 32 years of highly decorated public service as a directory assistance operator for Cincinnati Bell, Julia retired in 1996. Subsequently, as a sales associate at Macy's at Northgate, she received numerous outstanding customer service awards before retiring again in 2008. Although she danced at many venues nationwide, she held memberships in the Venus & Mars Square Dance Club of Wyoming, the Frontier Square Dance Club of Milford, The Place in Elmwood, and JR's Country & Western Club in Dayton, OH.

Julia was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mt. Healthy, OH for many years, and more recently a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, Mason, OH.
