Ralph T. Miller, 57, of Oil City RD 2, formerly of Marienville, died at 5:35a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, in the West Unit of Northwest Medical Center in Franklin, PA following an extended illness. Born July 15, 1943, in Connoquenessing, PA, he was a son of the late George W. and Eva C. (Hlatkey) Miller. Mr. Miller was a graduate of East Forest High School. He served inthe U.S. Navy as a senior corpsman. Mr. Miller was a self-employed building contractor. He was an avid archery hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He belonged to the Rainbow Archery Club and the National Rifle Association. Mr.Miller was married Feb. 20, 1965, in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Marienville, PA to the former Naomi Jane Snyder, who survives. Mr. Miller is also survived by three children, Randall W. Miller and his wife, Diane and Debra M. Mackie and her husband, Christopher, all of Oil City, and M. Thomas Miller and his wife, Sheila, of Seneca; and four grand children, Zachery,Tyler, Daniel and Matthew. Also surviving are a brother, George B. Miller and his wife, Pattie, of Brookville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by an infant sister, Gwendolyn Miller. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 1to 3 p.m. Friday at the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be heldat 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Overmyer, pastor of Victory Heights United Brethren Church, officiating. Internment will follow at Brandon Cemetery.
