He was born in Gosselies, Belguim, and came to the United States when he was seven. He lived in Mulberry, Kansas, before moving to this area in 1924. Mr. Lefebvre was a quality-control inspector for the Ford Motor Co. for 35 years before he retired in 1972. He became a United States citizen in 1924. He was a member of local 145 of the United Auto Workers.
Survivors include his wife Muriel Lefebvre, of the home; a sister, Virginie Hembree, Leawood; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Mount Moriah and Freeman Chapel, burial and Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m. today at the chapel the family suggests contributions to the Village Care Center.
