Passed away Friday morning, Oct. 19, 1984, at Saginaw General Hospital after ra short illiness. Age 80 Years. Mary A. Komar was born Dec. 18, 1903 in Ukrania coming to Saginaw 50 years ago. She was married to Leo Fountain. He predeceased her in 1953. She was employed by Grey Iron Foundry for 29 years. Surviving are one son and one daughter,Lloyd Fountain, Saginaw; Mrs. Victor C.(Betty) Savage, Carrollton; three grandchildren, Craig Fountain, Sue Lyn Savage and Janet Savage; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and one sister predeceased her.
Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., between Shattuck and McCarty. Rev. Gerald Kukla will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Carrollton Community Scholarship Fund.
