George Humphrey Anthony, 36, of Fulton, IL, formerly of Taylorville, died at 10:14 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2001, in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 9, 1965, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of Garry Lee and Anna Humphrey Anthony. He was a construction worker and he was a member of First Baptist Church, Taylorville.
Surviving are his parents, George and Anna Anthony; three daughters, Ashley and Hannah, of Taylorville, and Cassandra of Bolingbrook; one son, Brandon of Shelbyville; one sister, Bonnie Adermann of Assumption; one brother, Michael Anthony of Noblesville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2001 in Shafer Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8 in the funeral home.
