Mrs. Anna Kessinger, an old and highly respected resident of Tippecanoe county, died Saturday morning at 6 o’clock at the home of her sons, John and Daniel Kessinger, near Romney. Mrs. Kessinger was born in Germany on June 15, 1847, and her maiden name was Anna Rauch. She came to America when quite young and had lived in the vicinity of Romney during the greater part of her life. On September 12, 1869, she was married to Daniel Kessinger. Six children, were born to the union, two with the husband preceded her in death. The surviving children are John, William and Daniel Kessinger, of Romney, and George Kessinger, of Rensaelaer. The husband died in 1885.
