Mr. Frank Best died last Wednesday January 11th at the age of 87 years. He contracted pneumonia and lived only a few days after his wife passed away. He was married to Elizabeth Lewis, March the 4th 1865 in Springfield, Kentucky. To this union was born five sons and two daughters, W.C. Best of of Coweta and Homer Best of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Lucy Moore of Broken Arrow and Mrs. J. H. Cameron of Tulsa. Besides these he leaves 21 grandchikdren and 53 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Shahan Church and burial in Shahan Cemetery with Rev. C. B. Bryant assisted by Rev. George Reeves of Beggs officiating. He was a faithful member of the Christian Church, had lived in Coweta 30 years and leaves many warm friends who extend heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
