My father Evert Lee Bethurum was born August 4, 1919 in Dallas Texas to Isaac Henry Bethurum and Addie Monday Bethurum. He was the second child born of three boys.His siblings are as follows.

He married Helen Marie Mathis October 17,1944. Together they had three children.
