Carl Junction, MO - Dianna S. Durham, age 71, passed from this life while surrounded by family and friends, Friday, July 12, 2013, following a long illness.
Dianna was born April 3, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri to Russell and Maxine Morgan.
She married Dave Durham in Carl Junction, MO on July, 31, 1960; they had three sons: Doug, Denis, and Darin.
Dianna was very active in her faith and was known for her involvement with the nursery and children's ministry at First Baptist Church, Webb City. In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, she was a strong Christian woman who was always ready to lend a helping hand or a praying knee.
She enjoyed sewing, baking, and spoiling her grandchildren. Her legacy lives on with her children and many grandchildren who also serve the Lord including her granddaughter Abby Lettsome, who is a missionary in Kenya, Africa. Her family meant the world to her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Dave; her father, Russell Morgan; her brothers, Dennis Morgan and Tim Morgan; her son, Doug, and wife Brenda; her son Denis, and wife, Andrea; and her son, Darin, and wife, Susan.
Her surviving grandchildren are Lindsey Culver and husband Chris, Abby Lettsome, and husband Andrew, Rachel Durham, Adriana Brown and husband Jacob, David Durham, Megan Durham, and Derick Durham. She also leaves behind two great-granddaughters, Smith Culver and Adalyn Lettsome. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Morgan and her brother Larry Morgan.
There will be a visitation on Monday, July 15; at 12:30 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Webb City. The Reverends Bob Easton, Ron Woody and Joe Fowler will officiate.
Burial services will be at Carl Junction Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home in care of Simpson Funeral Home.
